Modernization Team

Modernization or what we also refer to as MOD is the upgrade of existing elevators.

The Modernization Team is involved working with Architects, Owners, and General Contractors on a daily basis providing the information needed to fit an elevator into a building. Many times the building exists with outdated or obsolete components so, the Modernization Team will assist with the necessary requirements helping to size and properly fit a new elevator. The information provided includes hoistway size, machine room size, electrical requirements, and also State or AHJ (Authorities Having Jurisdiction) requirements meeting code.

Modernization is an important part of our business and vital to the continued growth of the company.
